Children’s Hospital

In designing the children’s hospital in Tabriz, my overarching philosophy revolved around the concepts of simplicity and functionality. To create an inviting and child-friendly environment, I employed a palette of bright, cheerful colors and employed basic geometric shapes like circles, triangles, and squares throughout the structure. This choice not only enhances the visual appeal but also contributes to an intuitive layout, making it easy for young patients to navigate their surroundings.

The emphasis on simplicity was a deliberate strategy to ensure that every element of the hospital serves a clear purpose. For instance, wide hallways, low counters, and engaging play areas were incorporated to make the space accessible and comforting for children and their caregivers alike. By minimizing complex architectural features, I aimed to reduce stress and anxiety often associated with hospital visits, allowing the space to feel more like a safe haven than a clinical environment.

I envisioned the hospital as not just a place for treatment but as a nurturing sanctuary where children can feel at ease. The design includes bright murals and interactive elements that encourage exploration and creativity, transforming the experience of healthcare into one of positive engagement.

Ultimately, the resulting design reflects a thoughtful combination of simplicity and functionality, creating a healing environment where the needs of children take center stage. In every aspect of the building, from the layout to the décor, the focus is on enhancing the overall well-being of its young inhabitants, ensuring they feel comforted and cared for during their time in the hospital.
