Designing the music institute has been my most challenging yet rewarding project. In this architectural endeavour, my aim was to capture the essence of musical concepts, transforming the space into a harmonious embodiment of periodic rhythms, forms, and melodies. What distinguishes this institute is its functionality and a unique architectural feature—the ability of various components to operate independently, even when the institute is not in active use.
I intentionally separated the different sections, creating distinct areas interconnected by corridors, bridges, and terraces. The strategic placement of the main bridges not only enhances the visual appeal but also serves a practical purpose by connecting each section to its own dedicated entrance. This design fosters a dynamic and interactive environment within the institute, ensuring that each musical concept and practice space maintains its autonomy. It stands as a testament to the meticulous attention given to both the artistic and functional aspects, creating a space where music can resonate and thrive both independently and collectively.
